60 g medium grind coffee
1 L filtered water at 94°C

Method

Rinse the paper filter and add 60 g of medium-ground coffee to the basket of a drip brewer.
Start the machine. If brewing by hand in a filter cone, pour in stages: 120 g bloom, then steady pours to 1 L total.
Once brewed, give the carafe a gentle swirl to mix the strength evenly.
Serve immediately, or transfer to a thermal carafe to keep warm without cooking.
Freshly brewed filter coffee is best within 30 minutes of brewing.
